The Italian Australian Institute at La Trobe University, houses a specialist library on the history of
Italian immigration to Australia, comprising over
25,000 items of books, images, archives and periodicals
covering many aspects of Italian culture including,
literature, art and history.

We are a reference library only.
Books and materials can only be consulted on site at the Italian
Australian Institute at 25 Ernest Jones Dr. Macleod, from
9.00 a.m. to 2.00 pm. by appointment only.
